On 16th August 2026, the Democratic Party of Kenya officially launched its Murang’a County Office at Sagana Stage, near ACK Mukuria Hungu, delivering on its commitment to establish a permanent home for the party in Murang’a County.
The ceremony was led by Party Leader Hon. Justin Muturi, E.G.H, together with National Chairperson Hon. Peter Ndubai, Secretary General Dr. Jacob Haji (PhD), and other national and county party leaders.
The new office marks an important milestone in strengthening the Democratic Party’s presence in Murang’a. It will serve as a centre where members, aspirants, supporters, and the wider community can connect, engage, organize, and champion people-centered leadership.
The launch attracted an overwhelming reception from residents of Murang’a, particularly the people of Mukuyu, whose warm welcome and large turnout reflected growing support for the Democratic Party’s message of unity, justice, and national transformation.
During the engagement, party leaders thanked the people of Murang’a for their continued confidence in the Democratic Party and reaffirmed the party’s commitment to peaceful political engagement, national unity, and listening to the aspirations of Kenyans across the country.
